Breeze Skater Dress ~ Allergic to Boring Dayz

Roll Out in a Swirl of Hibiscus

Wheels make everything more fun. A cruiser bike on the boardwalk, roller skates at the rink, a longboard down the hill with the wind in your face. WHEEL SPORTS is the Allergic to Boring Dayz collection for the ones who would rather roll there than walk, and the art here is all about that rush of warm air on the way.

Breeze in full color

The design is called Breeze, and the name fits. A watercolor tangle of hibiscus in coral, peach, rose and sunny yellow blooms across a clean white ground, with palm fronds in deep blue and fresh green sweeping between the flowers. The petals are soft and painterly, the leaves sharper and more graphic, and together they feel like a warm afternoon on the coast when nobody is in a hurry except the kids racing their bikes to the ice cream stand.

Made for motion

A busy, happy floral like this comes alive the second it starts moving. Picture it spinning under the disco ball at the roller rink on a Saturday night, or rippling past the pier as you coast downhill on a beach cruiser with your feet off the pedals. The colors blur a little at speed, the pinks and blues running together like a sunset through a car window, and that is half the fun. Standing still, it is pretty. Rolling, it is a whole mood. The white ground keeps it sunny and light, so the flowers pop against blacktop, boardwalk planks or the polished wood of a rink floor, and it looks right at home next to a helmet covered in stickers.

For the girl who would rather roll

This is for the friend who still owns her childhood skates and actually laces them up. The couple who ride bikes to brunch and take the long way home. The mom who joined a roller derby league in her forties and has not stopped smiling since. The neighbor who skates laps around the cul de sac with her dog on a leash, waving at everyone like a parade float. Picture your rolling friend doing a spin in the driveway. Helmet on, music up, and meet her at the bottom of the hill.
