Kindling is the little spark that gets the whole fire going, and that is exactly what this Allergic to Boring Dayz collection is about. The Kindling design packs an entire weekend outdoors into one clean, happy scene, the kind that makes you want to cancel your plans, grab the cooler and point the car toward the trees.
A whole trip in one picture
Start at the bottom. A bright orange tent sits right at the water's edge, and beside it stands a hiker with a loaded pack and trekking poles, like she just got back from the ridge and has stories to tell. Out on the lake, a kayaker paddles through soft blue ripples, taking the long way around. Tall pines frame both sides of camp, and a few lazy lines of cloud drift across the sky. Everything is drawn in simple black line, so the tent and the water jump out in color.
Up high, somebody is having even more fun
Behind camp, the mountains climb to a sharp point where a golden sun bursts over the summit, rays flying in every direction. Look closer. A skier is carving down the slope mid turn, and off to the right a paraglider floats under a wide canopy, taking the scenic route back to earth. Across the top, allergic to boring dayz arches in friendly rounded script. Clean lines, a pop of orange, a streak of lake blue. It looks like a trail map sketched by someone who has actually been everywhere on it.
For the one who packs the car first
This is for the camper who keeps a bag half packed in the closet just in case the forecast turns good. The friend who knows every trailhead within a three hour drive, owns a headlamp for every mood, and treats a little rain as a suggestion. For the couple who plan their anniversaries around campsites instead of restaurants. For the grown kid who still gets giddy at the smell of wood smoke and s'mores. You know exactly who this is, and you are already smiling about it. Hand it over on a Friday and do not be surprised if they are gone by Saturday morning. Somebody has to be first to the fire, and it is always them.
